Just a minute later, Hestnes was sent off. Referee Marius Hansen Grøtta was sent to the VAR screen and saw that the KFUM player had stamped Carl Lange in the head in an attempt to win the ball. Filip Thorvaldsen gave Vålerenga a 1-0 win with a shot from 18 meters.
