The match was decided by Iver Fossum's goal five minutes before the end. Fossum was played free by David Duris and could roll in the winning goal without pressure.
Controversial red card
Just after halftime, Simen Bolkan Nordli was left lying on the field after a corner. Nordli went down in the grass in a duel with Brice Ambina and was stepped on in the face while he was down. Ambina was sent off after a VAR check, and Nordli had to be substituted off the field after the situation.

The referee's explanation
Referee Kristoffer Hagenes explained the decision: – There is of course a question of whether it is intentional or not. We experience that he does not do anything to apologize. All football players I know who step on someone's face, they go away and apologize afterwards. That doesn't happen here at all and underpins what I think is a clear red card.
