Vålerenga Fotball advanced to the next round in the cup qualifier after a 7-2 victory over Christiania on Sunday. Ole Sæter (30) was pivotal with goals at 2-0 and 3-0 following brilliant attacking play in the first half. The Trønderen received a chance in VIF's attack alongside Gabriel Rajkovic, and the 15-year-old contributed to the 6-1 goal in the second half. Vålerenga's other goals came from Lucas Haren, Aaron Kiil Olsen, Abdoulie Jatta, and Promise Meliga. Sander Lønning made his debut between the posts for Vålerenga.
Sandefjord dominated their away match against Eidanger, winning 15-0. Sebastian Holm Mathisen scored five goals, with seven goals scored from the 75th minute onwards. Eliteserien team HamKam secured their place in the second round after a 5-0 and away victory over Trysil. Brann defeated 6th-division team Fyllingen 4-0 on away turf with goals from Kristian Eriksen, Niklas Castro, Bård Finne, and Julian Lægreid.
