Vålerenga Fotball are now five games without a win after a 2-2 draw against KFUM. Lucas Haren believes the team is at a crossroads. – It's now we must show what we are made of, he says. KFUM on the other hand were not pleased with how the game unfolded. They conceded early in both halves. In the first half, it was not even two minutes before the first of two goals was scored by Emil Ødegaard in KFUM's goal. – I think it's a bit too easy how we start both halves, says a clearly frustrated KFUM coach Johannes Moesgaard to VG. The away team conceded both times after their own mistakes. – It's a classic Kåffa-backwards where we sleep after the throw and shoot the ball into our own goal. It's our own fault. We've lifted ourselves from youth to adult football just now on these things, so we'll take adult football next week, says Moesgaard about Vålerenga's first goal. – Are you getting irritated, then? – Yes, you're almost tipping me over here now. I'm trying to hold on because I've been angry for a long time. Also, Magnus Wolff Eikrem is critical of the start of the game. – It's a bit disappointing that we can't handle it better. Nevertheless, KFUM scored two goals and secured a draw. KFUM's 35-year-old playmaker, Wolff Eikrem, was not only the architect of the equalizer in the first half, but also scored the 2-2 goal in the 55th minute. Eikrem's pearl was also the last goal of the game in an intense Oslo derby at Intility on Sunday. It started very well for the home team. Already in the first minute, KFUM fell asleep on an in-game pass on their own half. Magnus Westergaard ran free in the back, hit the ball, and KFUM midfielder Daniel Schneider cleared the ball straight into his teammate Håkon Hoseth, who unfortunately saw the ball fall into the visitors' goal. After Vålerenga's opening goal, the intensity and quality of the game fell. Vålerenga's Filip Thorvaldsen was dangerous on one occasion, as was KFUM's Magnus Grødem. It was maybe a taste of what was to come. After a quarter of an hour, Magnus Wolff Eikrem swung in from the right, Vålerenga's defense slipped in the marking, and Grødem came in on the blind side – before he easily poked in the equalizer. After the break, the home team went straight into the visitors' throats – and got a second goal. Lucas Haren hit from distance, KFUM goalkeeper Emil Ødegaard was unprepared, and the ball flew into the nearest corner. Then the away team responded – again. This time they exploited a mistake in Vålerenga's defense, stormed into attack, and Håkon Hoseth served Eikrem, who scored a pearl in the far corner. In the 68th minute, KFUM's Bilal Njie was substituted in. He was met with a massive pipe concert from the Vålerenga fans. Njie is charged with match-fixing, but gets to train and play for the club. – There's no one who's been convicted of anything here, so we at Ekeberg are vouching for him, says Moesgaard. Neither Njie nor the rest of the players on the Intility pitch managed to score any more goals. Thus, the game ended 2-2 in Oslo.
