Vålerenga Fotball has secured a spot in the Champions League group stage after thrashing Anderlecht 5–1 on aggregate. This is the first time in the club's history that they will play in the Champions League.

Vålerenga won the home game 3–0 at Intility Arena, after winning 2–1 in Belgium in the first game. Thea Bjelde opened the scoring with a dream goal from 20–23 meters.
